What stays with you.
Who is responsible
Adrien Tranchant, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), 51480 Cuchery, France, is responsible for the data described here. Contact: adrien@peak64.com. Full details are in the legal notice.
On this website
- Your email address, if you join the beta list. It is used to send you news about Peak64 and your invitation. This rests on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Visit counts and loading speed, measured with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They use no cookies and do not identify you.
- Your public games, if you use "Try it with your games" on the product page. Your browser reads them straight from Chess.com. Peak64 does not receive them.
This site sets no cookies. The mountain photograph is loaded from Unsplash, which sees your request for that image.
In the app
- Your public rated games on Chess.com, from the username you type. No password, no login to Chess.com.
- What you tell it: your username, the name you want to be called, your goal, your rules, how you slept, your energy, and a short debrief after a session.
- Last night's sleep from Apple Health, only if you turn that option on.
In this version, all of it is stored on your phone. Peak64 has no server that receives your games, your answers or your health data.
The app talks to Chess.com to read your games, and loads its theme photographs from Unsplash.
Who else handles it
- Vercel hosts this website and provides the visit and speed measurements.
- Resend stores the beta list and sends the emails.
Both are companies based in the United States, so this data can be processed there. Peak64 does not sell or share your data with anyone else, and shows no advertising.
How long
Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for its deletion, and at most three years after your last contact with Peak64. What the app stores stays on your phone until you erase it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or receive a copy of it, by writing to adrien@peak64.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Erasing your data
In the app, Settings has "Erase everything and start over". Removing the app removes what it stored on the phone.
What it never does
- No advertising, and no sale or sharing of your data.
- No medical advice. Peak64 is an analysis tool for a game.
